Granada Geopark attended the European Geoparks Conference in Seville

All the representatives confirmed the great reception of the Grenadian candidacy, which brings great optimism to the project.

After the visit last June of the UNESCO evaluators, this meeting served to assess the evolution of our geopark in its process to be officially designated UNESCO World Geopark.

In Seville, the conference «Memory of the Earth, Future for people» was held, which especially affects the role played by the sustainable development of geoparks in the future of the inhabitants of the territory.

The representatives of the Geopark of Granada participated in presentations, workshops and classes focused on this type of natural spaces.
