Miocen serie of Cerro Molicies
Very powerful and spectacularly exposed succession of metric banks of alternating bioclastic limestones with silts and marls that become more abundant towards the north.
They are marine deposits of the lower Tortonian (Miocene) of the Guadix Basin.
The Francisco Abellán reservoir currently prevents access.
