Permanent Seminar “Essence and Science of Your Territory: The Granada Geopark”.
The permanent seminar is the “ongoing cycle” of scientific and outreach conferences of the Granada Geopark.
Coordinated by the scientific director of the Granada Geopark, geologist Dr. Francisco Juan García Tortosa from the University of Jaén, it aims to be one of the most powerful forums for research and academic training in Andalusia.
Featuring top-notch speakers from different Spanish universities, live-streamed sessions, lectures, training workshops, and in collaboration with the Rural Development Groups of the territory and the Granada Provincial Council.
Two of the three pillars of the Granada Geopark strategy – the scientific program and the educational program – contribute to the consolidation of geological and heritage values in the lives of the people living in the geopark, as well as those who visit it. For this reason, this open forum is one of the most exciting proposals for all of us who work for this great natural and social space.
We hope that the content will be of interest to you.
